Fall at Work Seriously Injures Man
According to a report, authorities have not released the identity of a man who suffered serious injuries in a work-related construction accident on March 2, 2009. Details are still sketchy and the incident is still under investigation by the State agency that investigates construction injuries.
The man suffered serious injuries when he fell 40 to 50 feet from a building. A company spokeswoman said, "Because it's an active investigation, I probably can't provide you with very much information. Our only official comment is our first priority is with the employee and his family." Elaine Fischer, Labor & Industries spokeswoman, said that the agency sent safety compliance officers to the construction site to investigate, but it typically takes a couple of months before a report is released.
