Construction Worker Electrocuted
Arizona construction accident attorneys, such as those at the Arizona personal injury law firm of Breyer Law Offices P.C., must keep a balanced perspective at all times no matter how difficult the circumstances. When someone has been hurt or killed on the job and their family turns to lawyers for help, it is the lawyers’ job to carefully explain the family’s options so that they can make the choices that are best for them. When the accident victims’ family is traumatized in the days and hours following the accident, the attorneys must help them through this difficult time by investigating the accident and basing their legal counsel on the facts, not emotions.
According to report, a 32-year-old construction worker collapsed recently at a construction site. The man was working at a pumping station undergoing renovation when he collapsed on a sidewalk. Co-workers initially thought the man was experiencing a heart attack, seizure or stroke, but an investigation by the coroner’s office and the State’s Department of Occupational Safety and Health found that the worker was electrocuted after touching a live wire. The investigation of the electrocution accident is expected to continue until the source of the electricity has been found.
